The following are a set of pointers I've received to useful information about the Maryland region and DC. For those of you with cars or the ability to bum a ride from local tour guides, these are possible places you might want to investigate or links to the specific locations where we're going during the weekend on tour.

If you want to go on one or more of these tours (or see one or more of these attractions), contact us and we will connect you to the tour folks as needed! Tours may be canceled if we don't have enough people interested in going on them.

We Wish We Could...

Unfortunately, if you haven't already booked your tour of The White House, it's unlikely you'll be able to get in. Tours are booked at least six months in advance. Also, sadly, the Senator Theater on York Road, a (partially) restored single screen 1939 Art Deco movie theater is in the process of closing (temporarily, we hope). They're still having limited events, so check their site for the weekend. For more information, visit: http://www.senator.com/.
