I am a Technical Sergeant in the Maryland Air National Guard, part of the United States Air Force.

To quote Jack Burton, "I'm not saying I've been everywhere and done everything..." (I haven't), but I have been to a few out of the way places with the MDANG. Here are a few pictures from my last trip, which took me to Oman in support of Southern Watch.

I am also active in the Maryland Air National Guard's Color Guard, mostly in the area of manual of arms training, a throwback to my days in the Civil Air Patrol (CAP).

The CAP is the civilian auxiliary of the USAF. Its missions include Cadet Programs (for youth 12-21), Emergency Services (such things as search and rescue or disaster relief), and Aerospace Education. I am a member of College Park Composite Squadron, part of the CAP's Maryland Wing.
