We invited Greykell to attend the birth, and to help Betsy post-partum prior to moving into the Maternal Child Unit of Howard County General Hospital. Last time, Betsy felt pretty well abandoned, and with the potential nausea (which she experienced during recovery from Erin's birth), she just didn't want to go there alone this time.

Grey was kind enough to participate and was thrilled to be allowed into the operating room (thanks to Dr. Daniela Meshkat, Betsy's OB). The running commentary on the activities of the doctors during the surgery, and the light atmosphere she helped maintain during the prep and closure was more than appreciated!
