In 2002, launched the International Costumers' Guild's current regular publication, The ICG Newsletter; served as Editor until October, 2005. During this tenure, produced 11 issues of the newsletter, which was distributed to 450-800 members of the ICG. Provided content, designed the layout, handled reproduction and all distribution tasks including processing the non-profit mailing permit with the U.S. Postal Service. In 1999, launched WebInvent.com, Inc., a web site design and management firm. Until June, 2005, WebInvent.com provided a wide variety of web and editorial services to as many as 12 clients at once. As part of WebInvent.com's services, also wrote, edited and proofread technical documents. Among the documents copyedited:

  • A management book for Crisp Publications

  • Four site reviews for a Public Housing agency affiliate

  • An article on Soybean production for a journal

  • An abstract of a Doctoral Thesis on Cuban/American history for a scholarly paper


In June, 2005, the company ceased to exist.
